If you are going to make items for use in other drawings it is better to create that item in a separate drawing by itself and create a block from that item, that way the reference point is set correctly. NOTE: This is a basic way to make a block that can be used elsewhere. This will add that block to you block list in the current drawing which then can be removed without removing other placed blocks. I'm willing to go through the effort of hand drawing this if there's no other way.Where I think you are getting confused is the Add Block function inserts an empty block into the current drawing. Everything is about converting from TTF or installing fonts. How do you actually make LFF fonts from scratch? I have had a really hard time finding this documentation online for LibreCAD. Is there a native LFF font out there that has this single-line connected property that I can use instead? I am wondering if I can solve this problem in any of the following ways. When I convert to LFF using ttf2lff or when I use this OTF font with the Python library ezdxf text2path, I get a double line outlining the line I want. This means that the shape is traced out forming a path that circles around the line I want. This looks like it would be perfect but sadly it's in OTF/TTF format. Download any of these Part Libraries and unzip (Extract) them into the new 'library' folder, then go up a level, right-click on the folder's icon and select 'Properties'. I found what I would think would be the perfect font, here. I want to have a single-line font that's connected such that one single line left to right draws my word without lifting the pen. I'm having trouble find a font that I need in LFF format.
